Welcome to the Imaginarium

If you believe in innovative discipleship, you're in the right place.

Many of the ministry models and formulas that seemed to “work” with previous generations have expired.

At the Imaginarium, we take into account the changing dynamics of culture and the ways in which the Gospel intersects with our ever-changing world. We partner with congregations, and young people in particular, to experiment with new forms of ministry that are theologically motivated and socially innovative.

Our goal is to help young people experience and lead ministries that:

  • Introduce the kind of design thinking that informs social innovation

  • Increase love and empathy for our neighbors

  • Open up fresh ways to connect with God

  • Call, motivate, and fortify congregations to have a missional presence in their communities

  • Cultivate a missional imagination to push beyond expected ways of doing church

We partner with congregations and communities to generate and sustain innovative endeavors that lead us to grow in love of God and love of neighbor.

More specifically, we draw on innovative tools and processes in order to cultivate forms of spiritual formation rooted in design thinking to build community, grow empathy, and spark creativity.
